DJ Mel promises to develop talent

MULTIPLE award-winning wheel-spinner, Mellany “DJ Mel” Nhau, has promised to keep developing her brand this year.

The United Kingdom-based entertainer said she is determined to keep the fire burning.

Outlining her 2023 resolutions, DJ Mel said she will not pressurise herself, but promised to maintain her schedule.

“You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.

“Ten years ago, I decided to take the first step into music. It was a risk that I took considering it’s a male dominated industry.

“I could not see the whole staircase, but I walked by faith,” she said.

DJ Mel said the process has not been easy to be where she is today.

“It has not been easy, but I told myself I am not giving up.

“Ten years later, I am taking each step at a time, and I am not looking back.

“I have come a long way and I will continue aiming higher, ndinosvika chete,” said DJ Mel.

She said she is grateful for last year’s achievements.

“I have entered this new year with gratitude for another chance to continue creating my dreams.

“I am not stopping, I hope I have encouraged others to never give up,” she said.
