TOCKY Vibes says he is ready to break his records in music.
The Zim dancehall singer, who recently unveiled a 36-track album titled Chicken & Chama, said he spends a lot of his time in the studio recording new songs.
He opened up on the sidelines of the just-ended Chibuku Road To Fame at the Glamis Arena where he performed at the “Battle of Budding Bands”
“As an artist, I make sure that I record regularly and I always write and record new songs.
“I would like to compete with myself and break my own records.
“I have written many songs but I look at the time frame to release them,” he said.
The singer said music was a calling that he would not give up.
“When I feel like I want to pen a song, I drive straight to the studio and make sure I record it.
“I also record with several producers and I am ready to work with anyone who needs my expertise as long as we click,” he said.
Besides being a household name who has amassed a lot, Tocky says he remains humble and grounded .
“I am still the same Tocky Vibes people knew when I was still a greenhorn.
“I will never change my attitude but rather I would like to amass more wisdom as I grow up.
“I would like to be remembered as someone who has helped others in life to get a bright future,” said Tocky Vibes.
