RED-HOT South African Amapiano singer and producer, Mr Jazziq, can’t wait to meet Harare fans, show promoters say.
The Woza hit-maker is billed to perform at Wood Pub & Grill in the capital on August 5.
An array of local wheel-spinners – DJ Butler, Mc Tatts, DJ Simshow, Danny Vibes, Andile Brown, Danny Lite, Mc Gully, MC Mocla and Coop – will provide cover at the event.
In an interview with H-Metro, show organiser, DJ Simmz, said it was all systems go.
“We can confirm that Mr Jazziq will be in Harare next week for a special performance on the 5th of August.
“He can’t wait to meet Harare fans, who have been supportive to him, over the years.
“It’s a show that we hope will attract hordes of club-goers who believe in top class entertainment.
“Mr Jazziq has been rocking the club scene in South Africa where he rose from humble beginnings to become a household name,” he said.
DJ Simmz said Mr Jazziq’s invitation was a bit special since it affords local wheel-spinners a chance to learn from the best.
“It is every entertainer’s wish to share the stage with people who have made it in their careers to ensure they learn one or two things.
“The same goes for this show where we wish to give locals exposure and merry-makers value for their money.
“The first 200 fans will pay US$5 for their tickets and afterwards, the general ticket will be going for US$10, and US$20 VIP,” he added.
Formerly Club 1+1, the club has been hosting top performers for the greater part of the year.
Cassper Nyovest is one of the top performers who recently performed at the venue housed at Longcheng Plaza.
Local showbiz stalwarts, Jah Prayzah and Winky D, have also filled the venue.
And, with the news of Mr Jazziq’s visit confirmed, another bumper crowd is guaranteed at the venue.
South African artists seem to have fallen in love with Zimbabwe with the likes of Makhadzi, DJ Maphorisa, Blaq Diamond, Focalistic and Master KG having visited our shores this year.
Born Tumelo Manyoni, Mr Jazziq was born in Alexandra, Gauteng Province.
He is popular for such club bangers as Teka, Halala, Bafo, Woza, among others.
