NEW: ZERA reviews fuels prices

THE Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has reviewed fuel prices for the second time this month.

 

Diesel now costs $218,01 (US$1,68) per litre, up from $195,99 (US$1,51) while petrol has gone up to $216,78 (US$1,67) from $195,72 (US$1,51) per litre.

 

The previous fuel prices review was announced at the beginning of the the month.

 

In a notice released this morning, ZERA said the prices have been set in accordance with the increasing oil prices on the international market, which they are continuously monitoring.

 

“The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio remains at E0. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations,” reads the notice.
