Tsepo Malunga is a student at the school.

The 14- year-old told H- Metro that his parents have been very supportive.

“My parents allow me to express myself through art and craft and are very supportive,” said Malunga.

“One thing about art is you can create anything from your mind without being taught and bring it to real life.

“I do paper craft and I use cardboards, glue and paint to come up with a good and beautiful craft,” he said.

Tsepo said he has at times managed to bring food on the table for his family

“They are very happy because art and craft brings a lot of money. Sometimes.

“I can even buy groceries for the family including clothes for other siblings at home,” he said.

Tsepo is the only child doing art and craft in his family.

“It is very important for us as young people to develop our talent while at a tender age for us to have a bright future.”

He is also academically gifted.

His art and craft teacher, Joseph Svisva, told H- Metro, Tsepo’s future looks very bright.

“He has got such a bright future because he can create something which he has never been taught.

“He is also very good at painting.

“He has pocketed many art and craft awards since The time he was in Grade Six.”
