Culture Week preps begin
Entertainment Editor PREPARATIONS for this year’s Zimbabwe Culture Week have started, with the event’s official launch being earmarked for Mashonaland Central capital, Bindura.
The event, which is co-ordinated by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), will this year be held under the theme Empowerment Through Cultural Initiatives.
NACZ deputy director Nicholas Moyo said they were looking forward to having provinces handing in their programmes for the duration of these commemorations.
He said the event will run from 15-22 May and there are a lot of activities lined up at the official launch.
