Ethanol producer Green Fuel failed to pay its employees full February salaries owing to the deepening financial crisis it is facing, officials have said.
The company, which produces ethanol from sugar cane, is facing resistance from local oil companies to blend imported petrol with its fuel, something that could help bring down prices.
