Caf reject Zifa appeal

CAF have rejected Zifa’s appeal to have the FC Platinum and El Merreikh Champions League first round, first leg played at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane.
The match will now be played at either Rufaro Stadium in Harare or Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo on Saturday.
Philimon Muvengwa, the FC Platinum secretary, confirmed this development yesterday evening.

The decision by the Government to suspend the sale of grain from the Strategic Grain Reserve is commendable given that many families are in dire need of food aid in most parts of the country. The worst affected are drought-prone areas such as the two provinces of Matabeleland, some parts of the Midlands, Masvingo and Manicaland provinces.
