Gweru man in trouble for using fake diploma to get a job

A Gweru man employed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development has been arrested for using a fake diploma, which resulted in him receiving a salary increase.
The man used the fake diploma for about two years.
The man, Enock Mwerenga (37), had been employed by the Ministry in the provincial human resources management office since October 2009 when he later forwarded a fake Higher National Diploma (HND) to the Salary Service Bureau (SSB).
Masvingo woman commits suicide over $90 debt

A 26-year-old woman from Bikita in Masvingo Province allegedly committed suicide by hanging after a misunderstanding with her husband over a $90 she had lent him, police confirmed yesterday.
Masvingo provincial police spokesperson Inspector Peter Zhanero said the incident happened on Sunday at about 9 am and identified the woman as Polite Tira of Shariva Village under Chief Mukangamwiikita.
He said on the fateful day, Tira had a misunderstanding with her husband, Mr Joseph Gonera (36) over $90 she had lent him.

Newly established Bulawayo studio, Maj Studios, is looking for young female Kwaito house and hip hop artistes to boost its growing artistes base.
The studios, with branches in Botswana, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe boasts of nurturing Fraz and Donara of the Seqamabhilidi fame. The studios’ headquarters are in Botswana.
The studio, apart from Fraz and Donara, is also home to Kwaito acts Izikhothane and Amasyndicates and hip hop group Lil Breezy.
